From 8 to 10, 14 and 16 February at the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 1 of Ivatsevichi named after. V. Guk" the Ivatsevichi district championship in basketball took place in the program of the XXXVI Schoolchildren Spartakiad.
5 teams of girls and 14 teams of boys from general secondary education institutions in the Ivatsevichi district took part in the competition.
Among urban educational institutions, the best results were shown by the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 1 of Ivatsevichi named after. V. Guk" (boys), State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 4 of Ivatsevichi" (girls).
Among educational institutions located in rural areas, the winners were the State Institution "Domanovskaya Secondary School" (boys), State Institution "Domanovskaya Secondary School" (girls).
Among basic educational institutions and educational institutions in which there are no 10th and 11th grades in the 2023/2024 academic year, the first place was taken by the boys’ team of the State Educational Institution “Omelnyanskaya Secondary School”.
